The messenger of Allah(SWT) said: "Whoever prays Fajr in the congregation, then sit remembering Allah until the sun has risen, then he prays two Rak'ah, then for him is the reward like that of hajj and umrah."
→ It was narrated that Simak bin Harb(RA) said: "I said to Jabir bin samurah(RA): 'Did you used to sit with the messenger of Allah(SWT)? He said: 'yes.' When the messenger of Allah(SWT) had prayed fajr, he would sit in the place where he had prayed until the sun rose, and his companions would talk and remember things from the time of Jahiliyah and recite poetry, and they would laugh and he would smile" (Reference: Sunan an-Nasa'i, Book 13, Hadith 180)
→ "He who performs salah before the rising of the sun and before its setting, will not enter the hell" (Muslim9:58)
→ Narrated by Abu Hurairah the prophet Muhammad(SAW) said, "No prayer is harder for the hypocrites than the Fajr and Isha prayers and if they knew the reward for these prayers at their respective times, they would certainly present themselves(in the mosques) even if they had to crawl" (Sahih Al-Bukhari 1,626)
→ "He who observes Al-Bardan(fajr and asr prayers) will enter Jannah"(Bukhari 9:57)
→ "He who offers the dawn(Fajr) prayers will come under the protection of Allah. O son of Adam! Be aware, lest Allah should call you to account in any respect from(for withdrawing) His protection" (Muslim 9:59)
The angles of fajr.
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger(SAW) said, "Angles come to you in succession by night and day and all of them get together at the time of the Fajr and Asr prayers. Those who have passed the night with you(or stayed with you) ascend(to the Heaven) and Allah asks them, though He knows everything about you, well, "In what state did you leave my slaves?" The angels reply: " When we left them they were praying and when we reached them, they were praying." (Sahih al-Bukhari 555)
When we pray these two prayers well and meet the Haqq of prayer then whenever is in the between is Allah will forgive And pray at the 2 ends of the day and at the arrival of the night the good deeds will delete the bad. so, the scholars give a beautiful example if there are two lights there's no darkness in between and you will notice that it is the same 2 prayers which you are the laziest to pray, Fajr comes and you have the Hadith for it, Shaytan knocks your head into the pillow, why? because they don't want the sins to be deleted. so, we become lazy, tired, etc. and when Asr omes you will be tired of your work and however you will not pray.
Tips for waking up for Fajr.
It is very hard for all of us to wake up and offer fajr prayer. Sins are very easy to commit but wake up for salatul fajr is hard. So, here are some tips for you.
→ first and foremost is sleep early.
It is for this reason that the prophet(SAW) hated sleeping before the 'Isha' and engaging in discussion after it, so that, the person sleeps early and wakes up early.
→ Remind yourself that you are doing this for Allah(SWT).
→ When you are sleeping you should have the determination and intentions to wake up for Fajr.
→ Remind the reward of Fajr.
→ You can keep alarmed to wake you up for fajr, but here don't just blindly depend on the alarm your faith in prayer should be more than alarm.
→If this is not possible then you can say to your mom/dad, brother/sister to wake you up for fajr salah.
→ Make sincere Dua.
pray Fajr, let the comfort of your soul, Be greater than the comfort of your bed.
Narrated 'Aisha: Allah's Messenger(SAW) never missed two rak'at before the Fajr prayer and after the Asr prayer openly and secretly. (Sahih Al-Bukhari 592)
Dua after Fajr salah.
→ It was narrated from Umm Salamah that when the prophet(SAW) performed the Subh(morning prayer), while he said the Salam, he would say:
'Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman nafi'an wa rizqan tayyiban, wa'amalan mutaqabbalan'
' اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا , وَ رِزْقًا طَيَّبًا , وَ عَمَلاً مُتَقَبَّلاً'
'o Allah, I ask you for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and acceptable deeds.'
→Juwairiyah(RAA), the wide of prophet Muhammad(PBUH) reported that one day the prophet Muhammad(PBUH), left her apartment in the morning as she was busy observing her dawn prayer in her place of worship. He came back in the forenoon and she was still sitting thee.
The prophet(PBUH), said to her, "You have been in the same place since I left you"? She said, "yes." Thereupon the Prophet(PBUH) said: "I recited four words three times after I left you and if these were to be weighted against what you have recited since morning these would outweigh them are:
'subhananallaahi wa bihamdihi, 'Adada khalqihi wa ridhaa nafsihi, wa zinata 'arshihi, wa midaada kalimaatihi'
'سُبْحـانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْـدِهِ عَدَدَ خَلْـقِه ، وَرِضـا نَفْسِـه ، وَزِنَـةَ عَـرْشِـه ، وَمِـدادَ كَلِمـاتِـه'
'How perfect Allah is and I praise Him by the number of His creation and His pleasure, and by the weight of His throne, and the ink of His words.' ( Sahih Muslim #2726 )
