What is Dhul Hajj?

It is a 12th and final year of Islamic calendar.in which hajj takes place and as well as a festival of sacrifice called EID UL ADHA.
first, ten days of Dhul hajj is better than all the other days of the year.
Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: “There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days” (Bukhari), meaning the (first) ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.
the Hajj is performed on the eighth, ninth and the tenth of this month. The day of Arafah takes place on the ninth of the month. Eid al-Adha, the "Festival of the Sacrifice", begins on the tenth day and ends after three days.

Hadith on Dhul Hajj.
→Ibn Abbas reported: The Prophet(PBUH), said, “No good deeds are better than what is done in these first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.” Some companions of the Prophet said, “Not even jihad in the way of Allah?” The Prophet said, “Not even jihad in the way of Allah, except for a man who goes out with his life and wealth at risk and he returns with nothing.”

→Hunaydah ibn Khalid reported: Some of the wives of the Prophet, peace, and blessings be upon him, said that he would fast the first nine days of the month of Dhul Hijjah, the day of Ashura, and three days of every month, which would be the first Monday and Thursday of the month.

→Al-Nawawi said, “It is part of the Sunnah to fast the first nine days of the month of Dhul-Hijjah.”

→Ibn Umar reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “There are no days greater and more beloved to Allah than these ten days of Dhul Hijjah, so increase in them your declaration of the oneness of Allah, your exaltation of Him, and your praise of Him.”

→Narrated/Authority of Bishr bin Suhaim
The Messenger of Allah (saw) delivered a sermon on the days of Tashriq (11th, 12th, and 13th of Dhul-Hijjah) and said: "No one will enter Paradise but a Muslim soul, and these days are the days of eating and drinking." Sahih
→Narrated/Authority of Abu Hurairah
that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "There are no days in this world during which worship is more beloved to Allah, Glorious is He, than the (first) ten days (of Dhul- Hijjah). Fasting one of these days is equivalent to fasting for one year, and one night of them is equal to Lailatul-Qadr." Daif

that the Prophet (saw) said: "When the ten days (of Dhul-Hijjah) begin, and one of you wants to offer a sacrifice, let him not remove anything from his hair or skin."
What you can do in these ten days.
1. Do tawba
repent as much as you can (Allah loves those who constantly repents)

2. Ya Ikhwan.
do not enter these days, and there is something in your heart towards anyone else.do forgive them.do not hold any grudges. clean your heart from any kind of hatred.

3.Ya Ikhwan.
try to fast all the 9 days. Not to miss the day of Arafah which is the 9th of dhul hajj do fast on that day.

4.make sure every single salah is performed on time. The most beloved "deeds" to Allah is the obligation, the fard salat, make sure every single salat is done on time
5. Perform Qiyam(the night prayer)
Tahajjud in these days (2 rakats in the middle of the night).ask him for his mercy.

6. Charity
whatever amount you can afford spend in these ten days.
